However, it may stay drier and brighter across northern parts. Brighter and showery on Tuesday, but it will remain windy and feeling much colder. After a drier, brighter and less windy interlude around midweek with some night frost, the unsettled milder weather resumes thereafter. Showers or longer outbreaks of rain, locally heavy, will affect many areas, especially the north and west, with strong winds and gales also likely in the west at times.
