Weatherization Program Assistant PTRC is seeking to fill the position of Weatherization Program Assistant. This position performs administrative work to intake applications for the weatherization program and otherwise monitors the weatherization eligibility program. Work includes providing technical assistance and administrative services to the Weatherization Program staff and clients. Work requires the application of weatherization eligibility rules, verification techniques, and calculation of formulas to organize and complete weatherization assistance applications. Seeking a candidate with a thorough knowledge of the weatherization program eligibility standards for NC WAP. The ability to determine client eligibility based factors such as income, dwelling, and program guidelines including the ability to understand and review cash receipts and to discern income exclusions. Proficient skill in operation of word processing systems and other computer and applications software as needed in the assigned work area. Requires an associate’s degree in business administration or a related field and some experience working in a sales support capacity or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Minimum Salary $29,762 with excellent benefits including local government retirement. Individual must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. Valid NC driver’s license required.
