Payroll Administrator Depending on experience Apply Here Description: We are looking for someone to bring his/her passion for people solutions, VIP Payroll experience and generalist HR administration skills to the team in order for the department to function optimally and add value to the rest of the business. Duties include, but are not limited to: VIP Payroll administration (full responsibility for payroll including maintenance of system, system backups and security, the completion of tax returns, dealing with all queries on all aspects of payroll, benefits and salary related matters, manage and conduct month-end and year-end statutory requirements, reconciliation and payment of PAYE, UIF and SDL and 3rd party payments, reconciliation of payroll related GL accounts, accurate and timeous delivery of ad hoc, monthly and annual HR Reports etc.) Liaising with service providers, SARS, auditors, etc. Benefit administration Time and Attendance supervision Legislative compliance Leave administration Other systems & records The ideal candidate: Is ethical and trustworthy beyond doubt Can complete work and projects with minimum supervision Can think analytically Will have excellent logical / sound problem-solving skills Takes pride in his / her work - attention to detail is a not-negotiable Can perform comfortably under stress Understand and can deliver excellent customer service Is able and willing to complete work outside of normal working hours, when required Skills/Requirements: Minimum Qualifications / Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent; tertiary qualification in finance or payroll management would be advantageous 3 years’ work experience managing one or several large payrolls (250+), preferably in the hospitality environment Advanced knowledge of VIP Payroll Working knowledge of time and attendance software (preferably Time Genius and / or Jarrison) Advanced knowledge of and experience in all MS Word packages, specifically Excel APPLICATION PROCESS: Closing date:                                    6  February 2015 What to submit:                           A comprehensive, up-to-date CV and a cover letter indicating your current role, your availability and your salary expectations Where to apply:                            Fax: 044 804 0987 Please note: The company’s Employment Equity Plan will be taken into consideration with all appointments.
