This role will require an ability to translate client design briefs into actionable creative solutions that make use of web design best practices to drive consumer behaviour. The ideal person will be a self-starter with exceptional web design/coding skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to self manage multiple projects with minimal direction. Requirements: An online portfolio demonstrating solid web design and front end development skills. Ability to design web page MOCK UPS in Adobe Photoshop CS6. Mahd HTML and CSS skills. Stay up to date with digital design and marketing trends. Ninja coding skills (JS, jquery etc) . Creative thinker with a strong, clean design aesthetic. So passionate about responsive design & development even your dreams are responsive. Ability to quickly familiarize with the clients brand goals and integrate that brand experience into designs. Ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to generate, articulate and present creative ideas and strategies via remote communications. Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team cooperation, promote enthusiasm, and motivate strategic thinking that improves the creative process. 1-2+ years experience designing websites in a production environment. 1-2+ years experience with WordPress and hand coding HTML/CSS. 1-2+ years of related experience (agency experience is a plus, academic and non-professional experience will be considered); Bachelor’s degree in web design/electronic media preferred. Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
