Wed - Dec. 31st, 2014 Prayer for Pastors “Father, I celebrate You and Your unfailing Word. I put You in remembrance that my pastors and leaders also celebrate this and that they have purposed and pursue wholeheartedly to meditate, study, and rightly divide Your Word of Truth so that it can be rightly portioned out to others who need it. Thank You Father that they have been found faithful to meditate in the Word of God day and night and this is making their ways prosperous; successful because they are following Your Words – written as well as spoken. Praise You also for their diligence in speaking truly; confessing what You confess. Thank You Lord that as they confess the incorruptible, indestructible, ever-living Seed of the Word of God – they are also receiving a 100-fold return of a harvest that is incorruptible, indestructible and ever-living. Praise You God that according to Proverbs 21:23 they are keeping their mouths and tongues and therefore are keeping their souls from troubles. Because they confess Your Words, they are keeping their minds, wills, and emotions from chaos. They are free from disturbances because they are faithful to keep Your Word first; in their eye gates, ear gates, minds, in their mouths; in their motives and in their actions. Thank You Creator that You have made them in Your image – a speaking spirit with the same creative, dynamic and explosive power that is within You is within them and they create with their words just like You do. Praise You that they speak only that which is good and edifying to others and that they do not give place to speech that destroys or tears down.
