Wed, 18 Sep 2013 11:15:00 GMT | By Agencies/PTI Arrest warrants against Uttar Pradesh politicians Warrant issued against BSP, BJP and Congress leaders for their inciting speeches Lucknow: A local court on Wednesday issued arrest warrants against leaders of Bahujan Samajwadi Party, Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress for their alleged inflammatory speeches, triggering riots in Muzaffarnagar and adjoining areas. The incident had left more than 50 people killed and nearly 40,000 were driven out of their homes. Warrants were issued against Qadir Rana, Jameel Ahmed and Noor Salim Rana, all BSP leaders, Saedduzzaman, former Congress MP, and Hukum Singh, Sangat Singh Som, Suresh Rana and Kunwar Bharatendu, all BJP leaders. Bharatiya Kisan Union leaders Rakesh Tikait and Naresh Tikait were also issued arrest warrants. Security was tightened in Uttar Pradesh assembly to avert any untoward incidents following the issue of warrants. Voice Out for India It is sad that all the Muslim leaders of BSP and Congress made too much noise but did nothing to stop the violence created by the BJP Hindu leaders. We feel the Congress and BSP should have kept calm and would have asked the Muslims to control the emotions.
