Wedding cake number 2: a lovely buttercream-coated cake - a citrus mudcake and a dark choc mudcake with mocha ganache - with beautiful rustic toppers and fresh flowers from Linard Floral and Bridal Centre. I am always excited to see weddings at home and how people set them up - especially DIYs - because thats what I did. We married under a massive fig tree and celebrated in a machinery shed, suitably dolled up, with tractor tyres filled with ice and bottles, lol! Todays set up, on the brides parents property, was exquisite - the details were really beautifully thought out. I did take some photos and will ask the bride is shes happy for me to share some of those later on. Then theyll be going straight to my Pinterest wedding inspiration board!
