Wedding planning often has the bride and groom’s schedules in - TopicsExpress

Wedding planning often has the bride and groom’s schedules in knots that we often don’t get the chance to meet them before the big day. So, we always make it a point to come early, as they start their preparations, not only to document it, but to introduce ourselves. Throughout the day, we’d take snippets of whatever “free” time they have to get to know them better. We’d talk to the bride and the groom, the bridal party, friends and relatives. We’d ask just about anyone at the wedding about the bride and groom, about their relationship and how it all began. By the end of the day, we would usually have enough footage to tell the whole story of the bride and groom. During the editing process, I would smile to myself because those stories are mostly the reason why I do what I do. To capture their stories is to capture memories, one that will live on as they tell it to their children and their children’s children. It doesn’t matter how good the stories are because it is theirs, and it is always beautiful. Speaking about stories, I liked the part where Yonathan said, “Katanya sih dia naksir duluan sama aku” (They tell me that she liked me first). I kind of want to find out what their kids will say about this. Ha ha. Congratulations to the happy couple! Cheers, Jimmy
