Wednesday 13 August 2014 Reading: Ephesians 3:20 (Amplified) Now to Him Who is able to do superabundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think, infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams! Reflection: One day my brother had a vision of a room filled with the most beautifully wrapped presents. They were stacked from ceiling to floor. As he walked closer, he saw that his name had been written on each of them. Astonished, he stood back and asked God – are these all for me? God said that He had all these good things lined up for him, but he never gave God the chance to give them to him. That is so true for each of us! God has so many wonderful things in store for us. He has all the good things lined up for each of us, but we never give Him the chance to give them to us. How can God do more than our dreams if we never dream? How can He do more for us than we can ever hope for, if we have no hope? How can He do more for us than we ever ask, if we never ask? Can I encourage you to ask, seek and knock today. God is there ever ready to do more for us than we could ever imagine. Open your hands and your heart today and allow God to do more for you than you could ever dream of. Will you do that today? Breath-prayer: Father thank you for all that you are and do for me every day. Forgive me for not asking, dreaming and hoping! In Jesus name, Amen
