Wednesday, 21st January. DISCOVER YOUR CAUSE “Pilate therefore said unto him, art thou a king then? Jesus answered; thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Everyone that is of the truth heareth my voice”. John 18:37 Jesus understood the cause for which He came to the earth, and was focused in the pursuit of that cause. Everyone on earth has a cause. That is, the reason you were configured by Elohim. You are sent here for a cause and on a cause. There is an existing principle of “cause and effect”, that states that; “for every effect there is a cause”. Never pursue effect; pursue cause, then effect will follow naturally. You were sent to the earth on a mission with a vision, which you must fulfil. The cause, for which you were configured for, is what will make people to send for you. When function is not known, confusion and frustration sets in. in Titus 1:5 Paul, writing to his spiritual son Titus said “for this cause left I thee in Crete…” and began to detail him on the things he would want him (Titus) to do there in Crete. Child of God, have you received details of the cause for which you are on earth today, for which you are resident in your present city, for which you are in that ministry, or that relationship? Success in life is simply the fulfilment of the cause for which God sent you to the earth. This success is a life long journey not a destination. QUOTE: When function is not known confusion is inevitable. WORD OF PRAYER: Dear Lord, help me in the discovery and the pursuit of my cause on earth in Jesus name. Amen. Bible in 1 year • Exodus 1-3 • Mathew 14:1-21 • Be in church today by 5pm for Word Encounter/Communion Service.
