Wednesday 7th July, Well firstly the weather has been pants up here today it has rained nearly all day, so Candy and I have caught up on some of our sleep and i think were both looking better for it this evening. Candy has had a good day again today, as you have seen from the picture she has a PROPA POOH i cant tell you how good it is when she produces a near normal pooh, hopefully it means were heading in the right direction, she has also been trying out some new nibbles, just to see if there is anything new i can tempt her with, today she has tried, Digestive Biscuits She like them, they are just abit to dry at the moment for her, but they will definately hit the spot in the future. Oatcakes, She likes them as well, again just a bit to dry at the mo. Honey Oh yes she loves honey, either spread on digestives or Oatcakes or mixed into her happyhoof, yum yum Cornflakes Nope Rice Crispies Nope Pony Nuts, We tried these at the very start of this, and she didnt like/want them but she wants them now, soaked in water with a dollop of honey mixed in and some spearmint herb in and some black treacle mixed in, YUM YUM YUM YUM She is definately eating easier than she was, esp sloopy things, they dont cause her much problem at all now, and she is able to eat a larger amount i.e 2 handfuls in 1 sitting rather than just 1/2 or 1 handful, i have made up what i am calling soup today it is, soaked Happyhoof mixed with soaked pony nuts, with honey, black treacle, garlic, spearmint, seaweed, rosehip, yea sacc, all mixed together and it has gone down very well, so much so she has eaten 5 scoops of it over the course of the day, some sliced carrots sprinkled on top make it just delicious Candy`s food intake today has been; 36 Handfuls of sliced fruit and veg, i.e Carrots, Apples and suede 5 scoops of Soup 2 scoops of ice cream 3 scoops of Readigrass 1 digestive 1 oatcake Her fluid intake has been Rain off the grass 7 ltrs of herbal tea 4 ltrs of water 7 bags of water She has done 1 PROPA pooh and about 4 cowpats and she is doing some amazing pee`s they are just right not to strong or cloudy, but she still cant wink after them, she is managing to move her tail out of the way a tiny bit better. Her tail is still plaited and bandaged just to help keep it cleanish, it just means im not having to wash her down 6 times a day. We managed to go and have a nibble on her favorite field this evening just for 1/2hr once the rain has stopped, she just wanted clover, clover and more clover. Inbetween her powernaps she has been bright and cheery, whinning whenever she has seen me, and she has definately enjoyed her grub today, so another positive day and another day nearer :)
