Wednesday 9th July, 2014. A LIFESTYLE OF PRAISE Acts 16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto GOD: and the prisoners heard them. It is a usual thing to thank GOD for blessing you with good things or pray when you are in difficult times. But what is unusual about what Paul and Silas did was to praise GOD in the prison for everyone to hear. How often do you sing praises when the unexpected happens, when you fall ill, when a loved one disappoint you, etc? It takes maturity for one to praise GOD in the time of need. What the Bible tells us in Habakkuk 3:17; that although things do not go well as expected, we shall rejoice in our GOD. Beloved, what we are sharing with you is about building a lifestyle that is not dependent on the evironment, but praises to GOD no matter what happens. David loved praising GOD and he became a man of unusual exploits. People who have such lifestyles never lack the presence of GOD (Ps 22:3) and if you carry the presence of GOD always, who can be against you? Let praise be a lifestyle and you will always be a wonder on this earth. Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the Name of the LORD.
