Wednesday, April 9th: Daddy had a good night of sleep, thanks to some Ambien. His tongue looks better, too. He is not moving his head to nod as adamantly as he was. Breathing is still completely mechanical. The Vibra neurologist saw him last night late. He was pretty encouraging. I asked how long can GBS continue to get worse before it gets better. He said six weeks...after that, if he didnt improve, the diagnosis changes to the chronic version of the disease. We are NOT quite to six weeks yet, and there isnt much left for GBS to paralyze. He can still blink, move his mouth a little (not much control over it) and slightly nod. We are claiming that he will begin to improve soon! This will not be the chronic version! Let this be your prayer with us! Thanks for all of your prayers and help! We are ever-thankful for the blessings throughout this hardship! God is good! His timing is perfect.
