Wednesday December 3 was a good day! Grayson had an appointment with Dr. Jeff Hull in Southside to be evaluated for getting his IVC filter removed. This was placed in his major vein while he was still in a coma to keep any blood clots that may form from reaching his heart or lungs. Thankfully, no clots ever formed and Dr. Hull was able to remove the filter today with no problems! PTL! Another step in the right direction! Grayson has been in pretty good spirits today and is resting now. I am not sure what tomorrow will hold because I did not get to talk to him before he hit the hay but I do know we have an appointment to take 14 dogs to Lee Davis Vet Hospital for rabies shots! Sleep well family and thanks for continued prayers for G and the others on this page as we all remain #GWKstrong!!!! We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens ours confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because He had given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. Romans 5:3-5
