Wednesday Evening Weather Update THURSDAY Warm but wet across the Island. Temperatures rise overnight into the double digits by Thursday morning for most of the Island. Winds will be breezy from the Southwest and then shift to West as our cold front moves through. Behind the front temperatures will slowly fall in West & Central, with a few peeks of Sunshine. Labrador will see scattered showers (flurries in the West) with a few breaks of Sun as well HALLOWEEN The forecast still looks pleasant across the Island, both during the day and for the Trick or Treaters as well! :) WEEKEND STORM We are seeing some better consensus for our upcoming Weekend Storm. The American & European forecast models now have a similar looking track which takes the centre of the system near Western Newfoundland and Southeastern Labrador. That track would mean a mostly rain & wind event for most of the Island, however there still remains the possibility of some wet snow in the high elevations along the long range mountains on the leading edge of the system. That track would also bring the chance of flurries mixing in over Western & even Central Newfoundland on Monday. In Labrador... this is looking more and more like a solid shot of Snow coming for Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Central/East portions of Labrador. Again, the exact track and setup will be the key to the forecast, but forecast models are certainly trending towards this idea. Its worth noting that the Canadian forecast model remains much further East with its track and completely misses Labrador with the Snow. Were still a few days out... and well keep you posted. :) Ryan #nlwx
