Wednesday (January 21st) Update: Nicolas will be leaving Emeryville CNS for Bakersfield CNS Tuesday the 27th. Insurance has finished paying for inpatient therapy so we decided the best way to continue the progress he is making is to keep him in the program but as an outpatient. Because CNS doesnt have any facilities close to Chico the Shafter Bergens have very generously agreed to host Nicolas so he can continue therapy at the CNS Bakersfield branch! Pray for our family (immediate and extended) as many of us transition into the next chapter. Nicolas isnt the only one moving in the next few weeks, and even if everything goes perfectly it is stressful. Also, we are transitioning into carrying more financial responsibility for his therapy and that brings its own set of complications and worries. Pray that God gives my parents comfort in the decisions theyve made or will make.
