Wednesday January 29 Hockey, Swim and Wrestling are all in action to help you get over the hump. Home GIRLS HOCKEY (5-6-1) faces a strong Herget Division for the second match in a row when it welcomes no. 20 Norwood (8-3-1). The Mustangs are fresh off a 12-3 pasting of Mansfield/Oliver Ames on Monday, so stopping the offense will be a key concern for the Tigers. The puck drops at 7:00 PM at the Fessenden Rink. Away BOYS SWIM & DIVE (1-4) begins its postseason schedule when it competes on the first day of the Bay State Conference Championships. The Tigers will compete in the 500 M and Diving, with the rest of the events taking place on Thursday. The meet starts at 3:00 PM at Brookline High School. After three strong meets and three second place finishes, NORDIC SKI looks to overtake Wellesley and grab first place in its fourth race of the season. The meet starts at 4:00 PM in Weston. After fighting tooth and nail for a point on Saturday, BOYS HOCKEY (5-6-2) looks to grab all two points when it faces Norwood (6-3-3). The second place team in the Herget Division is in the middle of a five game unbeaten streak. However, North has been playing some of its best hockey of the season of late, going without a loss in its last three, and should provide a difficult opponent for the Mustangs. The puck drops at 4:30 PM at the Canton Metropolis Rink. WRESTLING (7-6) faces a tough test when it travels to face Framingham (1-1). The Flyers are one of the best teams in the Bay State Conference and a strong effort will be required from the Tigers in order to come away with a win on the road. The meet starts at 6:00 PM in Framingham.
