Wednesday June 6th Faquere [Fauquier] County, March’d at 6 OClock A.M. five miles to Lick Creek in Jerman town (this place was named after a number of germans who first settle it) there refresh’d ourselved thence 5 miles to Elk Creek Church arrived at 2 OClock P.M. this day march’d 10 Miles.
