Wednesday Wonderings... Ever heard of digital storytelling? One of our E2 classrooms has been doing a study of the Indigenous Peoples of North America. Digital storytelling is part of this project. The students began with a research project about an Indigenous Tribe, they also created authentic artifacts of their tribe. They then learned about the elements of digital stories by viewing several of them and observing what viewers see, hear and feel. Students wrote stories/scripts, met in response groups, and collected still images, music, and video clips to use in their own digital stories. It is an impressive project that weaves all sorts of curricular contnet and 21st century skills into one! We will share more when the project is complete!
