Wednesday is a big day to fight homelessness in Lenawee County. If you or someone you know is homeless or in danger of becoming homeless (eviction, foreclosure), they should complete a Point in Time survey and be counted. Funding to help depends on an accurate count. They can sign up at Department of Human Services, Associated Charities, Community Mental Health, Family Counseling and Children’s Services, Veterans Administration, the Lenawee United Way and Housing Help of Lenawee. They also can sign up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Project Connect at the Merchants Building at the Lenawee County Fair and Event Grounds, 602 N. Dean St.
