Wednesday morning I decided to take my cousins on their routine dairy four wheeler rides. While I showed Tanner Dreiling around I had my nine year old cousin on the back of my for wheeler. We decided to go into one of silage pits and it was the wrong one. This one has an 8-10 foot drop off Id forgotten about. As we nose dived off the edge, I pushed my Regs off the edge to hopefully prevent any intense levels of injury. Then I hit the bottom of the out, crushing my cheek bones and nose. I lost four bottom teeth. Then the four wheeler landed on top of me crushing my vertebrae t8-t12 and fracturing my sternum. I was rushed to St.Marys where I had surgery on my back performed Thursday morning. Yesterday morning I had my facial surgery. Today I took my first steps using a walker. I am gaining strength and health through your guys prayers. Thank you everyone for you concern. Life is precious and this was brutal reminder. ❤️
