Some bright weather towards the east this morning but cloud and rain already in the west will spill eastwards through the day, amounts towards eastern coasts will be fairly small but heavier rain will affect western hills. Winds lighter than yesterday but still a strong SWly blowing especially towards western coasts & hills. A milder day with highs of 14c Overnight stays windy with outbreaks of rain, heaviest and most persistent for the west towards Lochaber, Skye & Lochalsh, turning drier towards Harris, Lewis, Caithness, Sutherland & the Northern Isles later. A mild night. Tomorrow will be windy with bright spells and scattered showers for The Western Isles, Caithness and much of Sutherland along with The Northern Isles, elsewhere cloudy with further outbreaks of rain but this tending to become lighter and more showery through the afternoon and ease away southwards, a mild day once again but cooler towards the brighter north.
