Weed pulling is done. I gave a tractor bucket full of tasty weeds to the flock for their enjoyment. Then loaded up the garden trailer with compost to top dress/mulch the corn rows with. This is my organic method to weed and feed my garden. The compost mulch will give nutrients to the heavy feeding corn while smothering out those pesky weeds, plus it will hold moisture in the soil and keep the soil a constant healthy temp for the corn to grow. I came in for a cooling break but I better get back at it.
