Week 1 Goals: Eat clean whole food for 7 days *Exercise with serious intensity and tons of variety for 7 days. *Get an extra 1-2 hours of sleep (this part might be the toughest for some of you) *Create a calorie deficit for 7 days *Create a daily habit of positive thinking and creating a fired up To-Do list. You can do your own workout every day but in the event that you are looking for something more, I have a series of videos here in files. (See files link under banner pic). I will also post extra daily challenges to inspire you to push further and get yourself on fire! *There will be sample meals and recipe ideas (I am not a nutritionist and I will NOT be providing meal ideas for vegan, gluten free, vegetarian, paleo or any other nutritional lifestyle. You can opt foods out yourself if you so choose). *There will be snack ideas. *Food recommendations. *Tips to help you form good habits. *Workout suggestions Based on what video you choose, you may need some light equipment such as a stability ball, lightweight dumbbells, and space to move around. You should also have a food scale and learn to start tracking your food either via paper and pen, or with an app like My Fitness Pal. It keeps you 100% aware of what you are putting into your mouth every single day. AND YES...guess what? Those M&Ms from the bowl you just grabbed a handful of and the crusts from your kids sandwiches count as part of your daily calories and add up. What??? You think I didnt see you sneak those? :-) We hope that in 7 days we can help you form some new and healthy habits that you can continue to use as you go forth after the 7 days are over for the rest of the challenge. This is the calculator Chalene Johnson uses. *Go shopping....WOOP! The best part!! *Pre-plan and prepare your first 3 days of meals *Plan your workouts...make an appointment with yourself EVERY. SINGLE. Day for the full 7 days. You are strong, people!!! You can totally do this! *Plan, measure, calculate and then go forth and kick ass!! You will survive...it is only 7 days and there might be days that arent easy, but I know you can do it! HERE IS THE IMPORTANT STUFF SO GET WRITING!!! GUIDELINES: *Only whole foods. *NO soda. *NO white stuff. *Minimal grains, wheat and gluten. *NO deep fried foods. *A veggie and protein at every meal. *NO artificial sugar. *Reduce sodium. *Small portions. *Water all day. You should be drinking half your body weight in ounces. EASY, right?? Lets do this!!!
