Week #100 of Songs that Tipsy in Chelsea Love: We dedicate this 100 week milestone to the person who is no longer with us, but inspired us to form Tipsy in Chelsea. Next week will mark 5 years that we have been without our good friend, Wally. I, Trish, had never heard this song, “Wish” from 100 Faces until after Wally had died. When Wally and I played as a duo, we never shared much about our musical past. We played very cool covers and when asked if we had any originals, Wally would say, “we have originals, but we want to play good songs”…always followed by his recognizable cackle. He was a funny guy…dark, crazy, funny and loved by many, however I’m not sure he realized how much. Anyway, I certainly “Wish” I had heard this song during the many years I knew him. This recording includes Dean Falcone, Jim Balga & Ed Valauskas.
