Week 12- April 27- July 21 2014 Over the past 12 weeks Ive been fortunate enough to see the beauty in life and people that I think not many ever get a chance to see, or at least take for granted. After breaking my back and getting all banged and bruised up I was expecting to be in a brace for at least three to six months, if not have surgery. It totally surprised me to here from the doctor after only four weeks he wanted me to take the brace off so my muscles would stay strong and support my back, being that I was in the best shape of my life before the avy. Its a scary thing to look back on, but the on going flood of support and love has been relentless and endless and calming! From all of my ski friends that Ive met over the past 15 years to my new SNE family; you have been the mortar that have held me together! Thank you! Words cant describe how grateful I am to you all! Then comes an even bigger thanks to my family and close friends. Mom, Dad, Rob, Jake and Marie. My Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, Gibbs, Flynn family, Cassidy, Miller, Alex K, Bob and Sheri, Jacquelyn (Fanny May), Meg Mel, Ariana, Momma Mel, Beth, any one that showed up to the hospital or my folks house when I was laid up! I know that Im missing a lot of people! The list is really so big!!! Its over welming! Im completely at a lost of words! Im so grateful for everyone! A lot of people have said I cant believe how fast you been healing! Its because of all of you! Your constant time given up to support, good vibes and positivity, PRAYERS, donations, get well cards, constant desserts and food that were made to sweeten the cloudy days and LOVE! I wish I knew a stronger way to say THANK YOU! Then theres one person that has really taken my breath away! Lenka, is just the most AMAZING women I have ever met! The energy you have exerted over the past months to make me feel comfortable is simply breath taking! You have been an angel and have made breaking my back a bearable accident! From racing to the hospital, to cooking for me, driving back and fourth from Manch every day and organizing fundraisers...the list is 3 months long! I will thank you every day until I wear out your ears and do my best to show you how grateful I am for you! And from this weekend Thank you Lenka for organizing this!!! And everyone that contributed! Lenka wrote this you yesterday and I dont think I could say it better so Ill just share her words! Im just so thank full to everyone that donated raffle items and have given up time to make this happen! Over the past 12 weeks Lenka and Marie have raised and you all have donated over $6000!!! Im speechless and that is just so extrudinary! I dont have totals on my medical bill yet but I think I will cover everything! So from the bottom of the ocean floor to the sky I want to say thank you again!!! and Again! and Again! YOU guys have all taking the financial burden out of this accident and allowed my to concentrate on healing! And I will continue to do so until Im at 120% and were a cape! :) Thank you all!
