Week 18 We have seen some incredible fishing this week. As we’ve seen in previous years, the ospreys seem aware of impending bad weather and often go into fishing overdrive the day before it arrives. Yesterday Monty and Glesni brought 7 fish to the nest ensuring everyone was well fed before today’s stormy weather. Glesni has broken her own record, catching 11 fish this week, 7 of which were Flounder. Monty added a further 21 fish, bringing the week’s total to an almighty 32 fish. This is only the third time they’ve caught this many fish in a single week; the first time was in 2011 (week 16), and the second was last year (week 22). Will they work together to beat this total next week or will Glesni migrate and leave Monty to provide for Gwynant and Deri? (Vicky)
