Week 2 Game 3 Ballaholics 102-60 over Triple Threat So last night, were all sitting around the OCC measuring up the new TRIPLE THREAT team, but then we looked across the court and noticed that the schedule makers had them facing the defending championship Ballaholics. If ever the NKOTB were going to have a chance against Ballaholics, it would be if Mitch & Rich couldnt play. Well thats exactly what happened as Renshaw was unable to attend and Rodriguez was nursing a knee injury he sustained snowboarding and was forced to watch from the bench. The game started out tied 0-0, but thats as close as DEMBLS youngest team would get in what turned out to be a 102-60 Ballaholics win. There were plenty of bright spots for Zack Poriers team, but unfortunately most of it was in the 2nd half after the game was put away. Porier, Begreen and Shane McAvoy each had at least 12, but Big Mac had just a little more meat in his burger & topped the two others with 14 . As for the Ballaholics, where was there a weak spot? Matt Lucier had his best game ever in this league last night, Jeremy Bridge was banging triples, Brandon Saint hit 5 threes and finished with 17 points and at least 10 dimes. Then there was Jay Snow dazzling the crowd in the 2nd half with 21 points including a few steals and two treys. Colin London was floating above the rim and contributed 29 (4 late threes) but it was his halftime dunks that caused teammate Brandon Saint to bust his chops about not doing that in the game last night....lol Saint, u just might get what you ask for next week as London, one of the leagues most frequent dunker takes his game into flightmode. Mario Hacksaw Monaco had a double double and 21 points, but it was his offensive foul down low that struck a cord with the crowd. If youve ever done the running with the bulls in Pamplona you know how the courageous young man felt that stood in his was on that scary play.
