Week 3 Outdoor Photography – TREES I thought it would be nice to legitimately share some of the City with a nature shot. This is a below-street-level courtyard in one of the public spaces provided by a corporate real estate property in Midtown Manhattan. For those not familiar with New York City, it can seem a bit void of open spaces to sit and relax (with no time limit). But for those who know the City, we learn about these public spaces within or around corporate properties where people are not chased away. They become meeting and lunch spaces too. My favorite public spaces incorporate water (falls or fountains) and trees. This space has both and is across the street from my office building and is also the entrance to a subway station.
