Week 3, Term 2 2014: The Extra skills we are focusing on this week include Drop Down Push Offs, Push & Glides & Dolphin Kick. A balanced push off incorporates some of the most basic, yet important aspects of swimming: a great streamline from fingertips to toes, a solid body & the ability to control your inner body to maintain a steady facedown position. A powerful Dolphin kick action enables swimmers to minimise the drag acting on their body by swimming under water! Its also loads of fun for all ages!!
