Week 4 NFL picks: Dolphins @ Raiders WEMBLEY The biggest story leading in to this is that Tannehill is on the hotseat as the Dolphins’ QB, something that is pretty surprising for me. Yes he hasn’t played great, but I’m not sure many would behind that cobbled-together O-line. As for the Raiders they look dangerous in their 3-4 with Mack pressuring the QB, something that could match up very well against Tannehill this week. However, losing probably their best receiver (Streater) and best DB (Branch) against the Patriots is a huge blow on both sides of the ball. This should be a competitive affair, but in my mind the Dolphins have enough quality to shake off a poor run of form, not to mention less time difference to adjust to, despite this being a ‘home’ game for Oakland. Packers @ Bears Green Bay have been struggling of late, while Chicago have looked confident with back to back home wins. This should be a fun game that either side could snatch. Chicago will be the favourites thanks to their home field advantage, but I have a gut feeling that this is game that the Pack will win. After nailing last week I’m allowing myself this one. Eagles @ 49ers The 49ers, after their loss to Arizona, need this much more than the 3-0 Eagles. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that they’ll win, even at home. Chip Kelly’s side have been extremely impressive, but have yet to play top tier defence. Whilst I’m very high on the Eagles and think the Niners are sitting about where they deserve (even despite their harsh treatment by the zebras so far), this is a game that San Francisco just can’t afford to lose.
