Week 9 recap: In a very even matchup between Team Zedge and Killer Off-season, it was a battle of quarterback titans as D.Brees threw up 31pts for Team Zedge... and R.Wilson matches that, putting up 31 points for Killer Off-season. It was also about the running backs for both teams: C.Johnson: 29 for Zedge, A.Peterson: 23 for Killer Off-Season. J.Nelson and M.Bennett combined for just 9pts in the MNF game, as Killer offseason falls short to Team Zedge 137-118. Zak Edgingtons team now gains the #2 spot in the West Division. In Eastside Oaklands first game of the season they were welcomed by a Toughguy team who put up a walloping 126pts, including 40 from A.Johnson who went off posting 1/3 of the teams total points. Final: 126-85. The Toughguys keep themselves in the playoff race as they advance to 5-4, finding themselves in a three-way tie for second place in the East division with Stranglehold and the Cobra Kai. The Goonsquads backup QB B.Rothlisberger comes through with 44 points as they continue their hot season, defeating Stranglehold 133-77. Josh Josh Orozcos QB A.Rodgers went down in the 1st qtr, scoring just 1 point and eliminating any chance at a comeback. Coach Alan Roberson improves his team to 9-1, and a game away from clinching the West Division and at least the #2 seed for the playoffs. The Horchatas visited LA and the Locos. Despite a disappointing 17 pts by A.Dalton, it was RB Stacy who carried the team, beating Garlic City by the final score of 102-78. Im glad Mike Luevano failed to start a flex player... add just 3pts from R.Rice and just 1 point from V.Jackson gave us a boost as we had a mediocre day ourselves said coach Johnny Rocha, whos team is now on a 4 game winning streak and sits atop the East division with a comfortable 2-game lead. The newest member of the Cobra Kai, A.Dobson, makes a great first impression for his new team as he scores 25pts, lifting the Cobra Kai to a 93-58 victory over the Golden Eagles. Coach Jason Barbato started 3 players who were either injured, suspended or on a bye week. Both teams now with a 5-4 record. In a battle of the QBs, Hawaiian Mafias T.Brady puts up 45pts. Meanwhile, N.Foles puts up a record-breaking 63pts for Team Dre as it came down to the MNF game, where Forte, Starks and Jeffery combined for 45pts, helping Augie Cortez and the Hawaiian Mafia to victory over Team Dre 143-134. The Juan Direction party bus made a visit to Decoto as they put on a show behind C.Newtons 26pts, S.Ridleys 23pts and a decent Cowboys defense (18pts).. Taking out the Headstompers 104-76. Juan Direction is now just one game under .500. 4 games left in the Fantasy regular season! Its do or die time for playoff hunters as we head to Week 10.
