Week Wrap-Up U12 Blue Girls 3 - Chicago Magic PSG 0 U12 Blue Girls 4 - FCB Red 0 The U12 Blue Girls had a great weekend pulling off two shutout wins. Strong defense from Marley R., Olivia S., Kylie B., Emily S., and Brynn Z. along with awesome goaltending from Nikki K. gave the team their first two shutouts of the season. The offense was equally as strong with 7 goals scored by 7 different players (Abby K., Hannah R., Madison W., Julia N., Brooke P., Lily B., and Abby B.). On Saturday the team beat second place Chicago Magic PSG for the second time this season. On Sunday the girls beat FCB Red, scoring 4 goals against a team that had only let up 5 the entire season. The U12 Blue Girls record is now 4-3-2 and they havent lost in their last 5 games. Fantastic job girls! U10 Blue Girls 2 - Elite SC Red 1 Another fantastic team performance by the U10 Blue Girls. Both goals were scored by Chloe R., (assists by Victoria L. and Ashley S.). The team showed unity on the field and responded to Coach Kukas calls for positioning, passing and shooting. Caitlin L. displayed continued development in the sweeper position and helped both goalkeepers - Maya S. displaying amazing punting skills and Erica B. quickly reacting and deflecting a low right side shot with minutes left in the game - in key defensive plays. Zoe M. worked Elites key offensive player by forcing turnovers. Ashley S. was stellar in midfield and pushed the game up field. Katie P. came ready to play in a defensive position and displayed strong ball-clearing. Alyssa Z. and Bridgett B. where involved in key ball movement. Coach Kuka indicated to the girls that this was his favorite game yet from the team. With two games left in the Fall season, the girls look to finish strong. U13 Blue Girls 7 - LFSA Scouts Premier 0 U13 Blue Girls 6 - Palatine Celtic Select 1 The U13 Blue Girls finished their season with a 9-1-0 record and a division championship after winning two games this weekend. For the season, the team scored 50 goals while only conceding 5. Coach Milan and the team are very proud of their accomplishments this season.
