Weekend Box Office Update: Part 1: The Debuts With one of the most underwhelming weekends behind us, its time to look back at it. With an only 589 screen count, The Pyramid opened with $1.3 million in the number 9 spot. The Pyramid actually exceeded expectation by $100,000, however dont expect too much from this film. Next week it will more than likely fall out of the top 10. A total run of $5 million may be pushing it with this horror film. A bright spot came this weekend with the Wednesday Opener of Wild, the Reese Witherspoon award hopeful debuted with an impressive $630,000 on 21 screens. While in the weeks to come expect Wild to be coming to a multiplex near you, possibly by Christmas. Wild may likely gross $20-30 million over its entire run.
