Weekend Results The weekend’s runners were a mixed bag with some good results for the stallions and some close finishes where the babies just failed to collect the major prize. The Paul Facoory trained Total Authority started the ball rolling with a great come from behind win at Doomben in the Coca Cola Amatil QTIS 3yo Handicap after looking gone at the 300m, the daughter of Court Command never gave in and fought hard to the line to show her fighting qualities and come away with a well earned win. Total Authority was having her 9th start and has now won 3 for a prize money haul of just over $94,000. Exceedingly Good’s exciting 2yo daughter Aimee had her 2nd career start at Doomben on Saturday and raced very well for a good 3rd. Trainer Noel Doyle said the 2yo was most likely 1 run short of peak fitness and will learn a lot from the exercise. Connections are confident she will break through soon. Easy Rocking was again responsible for winners over the weekend with Mum Said No winning in Rockhampton and Ain’t She Sweet winning in Warwick, he went close with another 4 gallopers running great races around the country.
