Weekend is over today. It’s been a great ride but between my older kids, I am wiped out! Child #1 Matthew Tialavea- back in town from his mini vacation and I can actually hear the kids downstairs now. Not too much noise, but I can hear them. Child #2 Kellie Pastrana- called yesterday and it was good to talk to her. She is graduating this week from PHASE 1 Basic Training from Ft. Sill, OK. She will finish off PHASE 2 which is AIT in Missouri and should be done by November-ish. We are so proud of Kellie and her decision to join the National Guard. HOORAY FOR PFC. PASTRANA!!! Child #3 Elder Laveai Fa’asa- “Mom, being a District Leader is hard”. Me being a mom, “Son, build a bridge and get over it!” LOL! Kalofae, even on missions and that’s the best advice I could give him. He speaks more of schedules and planners and stuff and the frustration of the fear to fail the missionaries in the district and most especially his Father in Heaven. He is always speaking though about not having enough time to do all that he needs to do for the Lord. In the end he is still in awe by the courageous Hermanas serving the in the Guayaquil, Ecuador South Mission. Child #4 Hermana Seana Fa’asa- was the first to get online today and share her excitement of her first baptism. A brethren name, Cesar. He is 80 yrs. Old and was finally baptized after living a life as an investigator of the church since 2009. Long story short- a lot happened on the day Cesar was to be baptized but in the end their Mission President said, “Do what it takes to have Cesar baptized! Today is his day- make it happen!” end of the day, CESAR WAS BAPTIZED. The Lord is mindful of His children. We all have our own faults and we all go through trials in this life. We succeed by how we choose to overcome our trials. Happy week FB famaree and please feed a missionary when you can!
