Weekend recap: Had Thanksgiving appetizers at Barbs (popcorn chicken and mozz sticks) while watching Jurassic Park 2 then on to Michael Koskis with amy and Jacob Gruetzman wherein Jacob decided that Transylvania 6-5000 would be appropriate movie fare followed by a 1949 film/PSA entitled, Act Your Age. Hilarity ensued. Friday forced Amy and I out to Menards as we were completely out of dog food, cat food, litter, and in dire need of a pipe snake to unclog the kitchen sink. Then on to Target Grocery for a few necessities ( pillsbury cookie dough, milk, etc). That night, in a fit of extreme organization, planned to go to Big Hero Six in Chippewa with Mike, Jacob, and Jen...except Mike went to the theater at 9 (when the movie was), Jen, Amy, and I went at 9:20 when the movie was playing at a different theater, and, even though Jacob was in the room with us, we failed to grok that he was planning on going to the mall and meet us there. 100% wanted to see the movie, 80% did, but only 60% at the same theater. Good going, us! Total black friday count: 4 kills confirmed, 7 assists, no vomit Saturday was the dog park with Tycho, video games, and a sick Amy binge watching The Vikings on Hulu all day while I plied her with blankets, heating pads, pillows, water, and comforting comestibles. Sunday, the Packers beat the Patriots and thus own NFC north...because did we really expect the Lions to actually win it? I think not. Amy did homework and watched more The Vikings. I disassembled and cleaned an old caulk tube, refilled it with drywall mud, and got a lot done upstairs with it. Then I marveled at my own ingenuity. :)
