Weekend winners for Lyndhurst once again had HIDDEN DRAGON leading the way with a metropolitan winner plus two in the provincials . FRIENDLY DRAGON saluted for the second time in as many weeks for trainer Les Ross and owner / breeder Albert Chiu, at Eagle Farm. The race was also QTIS, so it was a big result of $56500 to the winner. This 3yo gelding is from the Distinctly North mare Northern Friends who resides at Lyndhurst , she has a Sequalo yearling filly, a Hidden Dragon filly foal, and has been recently tested back in foal to Hidden Dragon. In far North Queensland, BOOM SHA LA collected the money in Cairns, winning her fourth race and taking her prize money to $100,000. Bred by shareholder Greg Grainger, she is from the Scenic mare Shalaal. This is the same cross that produced Hidden Dragons first stakes winner HOLLOWLEA. NORBERT by Hidden Dragon won his fifth race at the Harden picnics in New South Wales, the 6yo from the stallions first crop was bred by one time shareholder Michelle Lamb from her New Berry mare Bohemian Belle. And finally a winner for the past Lyndhurst resident CARRY THE FLAG, with DARLING BE GOOD winning a 1100m maiden at her first start in Clifton, a track halfway between Warwick and Toowoomba. Bred and raced by the breeder Bill Keenan on the Clifton circuit, from his Lion Hunter mare Pure Angel.
