Weekly Addendum to Medication/Supplement List for October 6: These will be posted to the medications/supplements article on my blog in the next day or so. We will make weekly additions to the list based on your inquiries. This list is as a result of your inquiries this week and last. As promised last week these are lists of the foods with the highest anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory content. Ideally they should be avoided as they will either ‘rev up’ the immune system and/or interfere with the stem cells and their ability to promote healing. This avoidance is temporary, and we are anticipating that a period of 12-18 months avoidance will be sufficient time for the stem cells to do their healing. TOP TWENTY ANTI-OXIDANT FOODS: • Small red bean • Wild blueberry • Red kidney bean • Pinto bean • Blueberry (cultivated) • Cranberry • Blackberry • Prune • Raspberry • Red delicious apple • Granny Smith Apple • Pecans/walnuts/chestnuts • Sweet cherry • Black plum • Russet potato (cooked) • Black bean • Plum • Gala apple TOP ANTI-INFLAMMATORY FOODS: • Cayenne Pepper • Celery • Cherries • Kelp • Cauliflower • Spinach • Kale • Flax seeds/flax oil • Extra Virgin Olive oil • Avocado oil • Avocado • Ginger • Papaya • Shitake mushrooms • Sweet potatoes • Turmeric Foods: • Apple Cider Vinegar: Raw vinegar with amino acids. Use sparingly 2-3 times/week. • Braggs Liquid Amino: Is a soy based formulation with amino acids. Use sparingly, 2-3 times/week. Does have a high salt content. • Soy sauce: High in anti-inflammatory properties. AVOID after the treatment.
