Weekly Report Two’s Program June 3rd – 7th, 2013 Hello everyone. This week during circle we have been reviewing and also talking about the weather. We always check outside the window to see what the weather is like and at the beginning of this week we saw a lot of rain so we learned a new song. It’s called “Rain Rain, Go Away.” The lyrics are below and they continue through the whole family, Daddy, Mommy, Brother, Sister and Baby. Rain rain, go away Come again another day Rain rain, go away Daddy wants to play On Tuesday we shared items that begin with ‘n’. We saw a nail file, nose wipes, a book about New York City, numbers and two different kinds of napkins. Amber shared a nest, a nose and a net. On Wednesday we all sat together at the tables with Maribel and we made animal masks for our craft. We could choose whether we wanted to make a monkey, tiger, rabbit or cat and we used crayons and colored pencils to color them in. It was fun wearing the masks and pretending we were animals. On Thursday, we had a Swedish Day celebration in the garden. It was fun. We listened to Swedish music and we learned the frog dance. We also got special blue and yellow paper planes and we enjoyed a yummy snack of strawberries and ice cream. We want to say A BIG THANK YOU to Johan’s Mom, Clara’s Mom and William’s Mom! THANK YOU we really enjoyed it! During Friday’s pottery lesson we painted and glazed our pot decorators and our suns. This was our last pottery lesson of the year.
