Weekly Update Good afternoon! It was a good weekend to be a part of the Grace family! I loved seeing so many of you at both yesterday’s service and Saturday’s Fall Fest! For those of you who are out of school tomorrow we are having a Fun Day at the church. Students can arrive around 11:30 and we will go grab some lunch. After lunch we will head back to the church and play some games. If students can bring $3 to pitch in for food that will be the only cost of the event. If there is anything I can do to help students get there and take part please let me know. Later this month we have a lot of awesome things happening. Let me give you a few details on each quickly: 14-16- Extravaganza Sports & Arts I will have a final itinerary out next week. We will be staying at Trevecca Community Church to save money. We will probably visit the mall on Saturday afternoon during on of the breaks but the only money students going absolutely need to come with them is dinner money for the way there and lunch money for the way back. 21- Mystery Fun Night Details for this night will be released closer to time but the idea is students will show up with little to no idea what we will be doing. They will only know how they should be dressed and what they need to bring. That way the fun thing we do is a complete surprise 22- Family Work Day Meet at the church at 8am and carpool over to help fix up Eastside Church of the Nazarene. The youth are in charge of the lobby area. Lunch will be provided on site and we should be through with everything shortly after noon 23- Youth Sunday Pastor Mark has asked that the youth take over a lot of the service and responsibilities that morning for service. Many of our students have already signed up for jobs they would be willing to do. This is an awesome opportunity for our students to take part in what God is doing here on Sunday mornings in a more hands on way and I am looking forward to it!
