Weight loss shouldnt just be about your image - how you look in a pair of jeans or how skinny you can get! It should have more value, such as: Decrease your intake of meds for your hypertension ( high blood pressure), control your diabetes (type 2) & not have to rely on meds to control it for you, increasing your happy hormones, etc! Happy Hormones: Dopamine is mainly involved with the control of your mood. Dopamine action is to cause sense of contentment. ( a state of happiness & satisfaction). Dopamine is strongly associated with reward mechanisms in your brain! Serotonin : is mainly involved in a range of behaviors including sleep, appetite, arousal and aggression. Its activity is correlated with variations in personality and mood and is also linked to depression. When eating whole nutritional foods( less processed foods), sunlight exposure & exercise increases the happy hormone. Serotonin prevents depression and makes a person happy!
