#WeinWednesday An historic moment in the timeline of American folk festivals, Newport in particular, was Bob Dylan going electric in 1965. That moment has left its imprint on just about all music that followed. Though often invited, Dylan finally came back to Newport nearly forty years later, in 2002. His heralded return was an instantaneous success. We sold out every ticket and had an audience of luminaries, including Vice President Al Gore and movie star Richard Gere. It was a memorable day. Bob, you are welcome back anytime.
