Weird Fun with Time: 1. By virtue of having played jazz for 30 years, I have been involved with the art form for roughly 25% of its existence on the planet. 2. By continuing to primarily perform in the hard-bop tradition, I become mathematically anachronistic to the general public, and yet a recurring complaint is that the music sounds too modern. Not planning any major changes. I just find it interesting.
