Weird Wednesday (Daylight come and meh audience gone home Edition): So after exploring the intellectual intricacies of why the moon doesnt wear a hairpiece on Monday (keep that feedback coming in folks!), today we question why the sun is often seen wearing sunglasses. Now unless the sun is admiring itself in a mirror or shiny surface, the one thing that the sun would not be looking at is.... you guessed it... THE SUN. So why the shades? Anyway I was thinking that there are a lot of similarities between the sun and the internet: We take the sun for granted. We take it the internet was funded by grants. The sun allows for life outdoors. The internet allows people to have a pseudo-life without ever leaving indoors. The sun gives you vitamins. The internet offers you vitamins at a discounted price. The sun is a concentration of brightness. The internet... hmm... And finally, When it gets too hot, the heat from the sun isnt funny - it can make you groan in pain. Our facebook updates on the internet... well, lets not be redundant here. :-O
