Weird sight this morning at breakfast. I find smart phones too annoying and distracting so I couldnt record it. A couple came into the hotel dining area. The man was clearly in holiday mood. He had a wide brimmed hat on, a tee shirt and shorts with what seemed to be a cod piece, although it may have been poor ironing or his natural enthusiasm. He was accompanied by someone, presumably a woman, in a black burka with only eyes visible through a slit. What a contrast between male bravura and (presumably) female religious timidity. Of course it could have been his mother or even his boy friend adopting a perfect disguise to allow them into the hotel room together. Usually here burkas are accompanied by men in goatee beards, skull caps and sarongs. It was almost as if actors from different plays were sharing the same set of dressing rooms. Sorry I couldnt share the image, though.
