Weird thing of the day: There is a province in Argentina - TopicsExpress

Weird thing of the day: There is a province in Argentina where Welsh is, alongside Spanish, an official language. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chubut_Province Apparently lots of Welsh folk came there in 1865, and subsequently there are 25,000 Welsh speakers in Argentina (mostly in Chabut). (I was looking up the Wikipedia article on the Welsh language, curious how many people actually spoke it, and when it was listing the places it was spoken, listed the typical Wales, areas bordering Wales then oh, btw also Argentina of course.)
