Eight internationals back at FC Barcelona Piqué, Jordi Alba, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro, Song and Rakitic took medical and fitness tests this morning The FC Barcelona players that were knocked out of the World Cup at the end of the group stage have returned to the club. These are Gerard Piqué, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Xavi Hernández, Andrés Iniesta, Pedro Rodríguez, Alex Song and Ivan Rakitic. For the Croatian, it’s his first day of work at his new club. Same work as their colleagues These players started the morning doing exactly the same medical and fitness tests that their team-mates who didn’t travel to the World Cup already did on their first day back, July 14. The venue was the medical centre at the Ciutat Esportiva. They began with analytic tests, and after that took turns with biomechanical analysis, an electrocardiogram, echography, an effort teat and densitometry.
