REMEMBER be at church at 6:30 so EVERYONE can participate in planning in the committee meeting prior to the 7PM pack meeting. Summer Achievements Parents be sure to give your den leaders or the Advancement Chair (Sherry Amerman) achievements that your scout earned during the summer. We want to acknowledge those during the pack meeting. - discuss fundraising Popcorn sales have kicked off and Teresa has the materials and information. I will communicate more in the next day or so, BUT we need a volunteer to coordinate these sales. If we get no volunteer - parents can still participate individually by contacting me (teresamintz@hotmail) It is really beneficial to support this fundraising - council uses the funds to keep activities such as day camps and campgrounds available and updated. Id hate to see Camp Thunder in disrepair like Camp Lumpkin. In addition to camp cards, Sherry raised an idea of smoked butts -- LOL -- yeah I know. We need to investigate this more.... - discuss Events, Spook-o-ree, (first pay; first reserved for the patform beds) The pack has already paid for 36 beds in the CREEK site, so we really need to fill those before the BYO (bring your own tents).
