Welcome! We have setup this page to help share information about Computer Science programs at Lake Superior State University. We offer three main programs through the School of Mathematics and Computer Science including: Computer Science, Networking and Web Development. Of course we also offer programs in Mathematics and Math Education as well! We offer not only bachelor degree programs, but also associate degree and minors in most of the program areas and students can minor in Computer Science or Web Development as part of a Liberal Arts bachelor degree program, providing students with flexibility to build an academic program that works for their needs. All faculty have a doctorate and teach in the classroom. With a low faculty to student ratio, students get the opportunity to interact with their professors both in and out of the classroom. Faculty and students are involved in professional organizations and the community. Students participate in programming competitions and attend professional conferences with faculty such as the Michigan Celebration of Women in Computing (MICWIC) and the International Conference of the Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education of the Association for Computing Machinery.
